Rom. 1:12  I’m eager to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. In this way, each of us will be a blessing to the other.

BNICE, Benevolent Network of International Christian Educators

Purpose to show and act in support of teachers and administrators in Sub-saharan Africa and Third World areas. Too often, the needs of teachers are overlooked when basics like food, shelter, water, safety, medical care stand out in disasters. BNICE purpose is to support literacy efforts, no matter how big or small or condition. Many schools in our effort don't have electricity, supplies, even pencils. We are purposed to supply the basics through packing up these items and sending them to teachers and administrators who request them. When the word gets out there will hundreds of requests, maybe thousands of locations wanting support.

Purpose is to locate them. To have supporters, that's you to get started, just like I did to make up a box of books, filling up areas with pencils, erasers and to pay the postage.

Teachers need our help to help the children learn. Children need to learn English to become competitive in the job market, even in Africa, where Kiswali, Zula or whatever dominant language there is. In Kakamega, Kenya, English is their third language, but it is taught and books are needed to reinforce literacy.

BNICE is made up of advisors,  folks who are praying, putting their heads together, who have ministry experiences, a secretary and a director, which is me.  I am taking the first steps, the goal is to get the supporters like you to access a blessing, to be blessed and to bless the children.  It's that simple.  Help the teachers teach.

What can you do? Send a box of books, a little goes a long way! Up to twenty pounds can be shipped through the United States Post Office, Priority mail, in a flat rate box for about $56.  Second hand books in good condition are  readily available. Pack a box and send it off.

What else can we do? Stay tuned. At this time, we are purposing to send books to the Salvation Army West Headquarters in Kakamega, Kenya where 300 schools are in need. Later there will be other kinds of ways to help the teachers teach.
